Targeted Therapeutic Exercise - Introduction

Movement is medicine, and at our clinic, we believe that the right exercises at the right time can be the key to unlocking your body's full healing potential. Targeted Therapeutic Exercise combines the precision of clinical assessment with personalized movement programs designed specifically for your condition, goals, and current abilities. Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or working to prevent future problems, our exercise therapy goes far beyond generic stretches or one-size-fits-all routines. Instead, we create a carefully structured program that evolves with your healing journey—starting with gentle movements to restore function and progressing to strengthening exercises that build resilience and prevent re-injury. As part of our integrated treatment approach, therapeutic exercise works hand-in-hand with your chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapies, and other modalities to accelerate your recovery and help you return to the activities you love with confidence and strength.

What is Therapeutic Exercise?

Therapeutic exercise is a cornerstone of our chiropractic care that includes both active exercises (you perform the movements) and passive exercises (I guide your movements). These exercises are specifically designed to restore function and prevent future injuries.

How It Works

Active Exercises: You perform specific movements and stretches to strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and enhance coordination.

Passive Exercises: I guide your body through specific movements while you remain relaxed, helping to improve range of motion and reduce stiffness.

Types of Exercises

  • Strengthening exercises for core stability and muscle support

  • Flexibility and stretching routines

  • Range of motion exercises

  • Postural correction exercises

  • Balance and coordination training
